The PREMIER is a full-featured Trimmer Mower. It steps up from our PILOT model with the addition of a blade brake clutch that stops the head from spinning without shutting off the engine. The 6.75 Briggs & Stratton engine with cast iron sleeve has plenty of power for all trimming and lighter mowing tasks.
Warranty Coverage
Our Premier model offers vastly more power than any handheld trimmer and will power through any trimming task and handle light to moderate mowing jobs with ease. At just 57 lbs it is light enough to maneuver in tight quarters, rolling easily on big 14" resin wheels. The Premier features a 22" cut and has five adjustable height settings, from 1.5 to 3.5 inches.
The 6.75 series Briggs & Stratton engine is available with either an easy-pull manual start, or an electric start for maximum convenience. Each DR Trimmer/Mower is backed by a 2-year warranty for residential use (90 days for commercial use). And with ReadyStart® there is no priming, no choking, and no oil changes (just check level and add oil when needed).
An offset frame design allows the Premier to trim right up against foundations, fence lines and other obstacles with precise control. The front is fortified with a cast aluminum nose plate that protects the machine against damage from collisions.
All DR Trimmer/Mowers accept super-thick 175 mil cutting cords—the thickest, longest-lasting in the industry (so you spend more time mowing and less time changing cords).
Unlike most trimmers, the DR wide-body design prevents vegetation from wrapping and tangling around the trimmer head (which tends to stall the engine. Even in tall grass, the DR Trimmer Mower keeps on keeping on.

Cords go on in seconds, no tools required. Choose from 5 different cutting height adjustments (1.5" to 3.5") at the same time you attach your cords. No tools and no extra time required. Set the cutting height low for trimming, or set it high for off-lawn mowing of tall grass and weeds.

The DR Trimmer/Mower's cast aluminum nose plate protects it against damage from collisions. Bumps and scrapes are inevitable when you're working, but you can ensure that they don't damage your machine.
The optional Beaver Blade turns your trimmer into a chainsaw on wheels. Cuts trees up to 3" in diameter quickly and easily. It's the perfect way to take down stands of "weed trees" without bending over or dropping to your knees like you have to with a normal chainsaw.
Allows you to change your trimmer cord in just seconds—completely hassle-free! Cord is simply inserted into the head and is anchored in place by the unique gripping mechanism! Perfect for quick cord changes in the field, and for those who often trim dense thickets of weeds.
With our optional DR DuraBlades you can quickly swap out your cutting cords with metal blades, embedded in a high-tech polymer, that slice through woody material up to 3/8" thick!
